Independent Book Week shortlists announced

It’s Independent Book Week from 30 June-7 July and participating independent booksellers have voted for their favourite adults’ and children’s books, from nominations put forward by publishers.

You, the public will vote for the winning authors, so pick up a voting leaflet at your local bookshop from 30 June. Voting continues until the end of August. Here is the shortlist of children’s favourites – is one of yours on the list?:
