All join in… Celebrate Quentin Blake’s 80th birthday!
This year is a special year for Quentin Blake: he turns 80 in December, and Random House Chidren’s Publishers are honouring and celebrating his career with some very special books.
Coming this autumn is a new edition of Quentin’s second picture book: Jack and Nancy – a tale of two children flung into adventure. The pictures are exquisite, and Quentin has coloured a fabulous new cover. We’re also reissuing Quentin Blake’s ABC and Quentin Blake Nursery Rhyme Book. Also released is The Winter Sleepwalker – Joan Aiken’s magical modern fairytales. Plus, look out for beautiful editions of Roald Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile, Revolting Rhymes, Boy and Dirty Beasts – all illustrated by Quentin.
Finally, we are very excited about The Quentin Blake Treasury – a beautifully put-together hardback collection of nine favourite Blake books in their entirety: All Join In, Mister Magnolia, Angelica Sprocket’s Pockets, Quentin Blake’s ABC, Quentin Blake Nursery Rhyme Book, Cockatoos, Angel Pavement, Mrs Armitage on Wheels and his very first picture book: Patrick.
