Roald Dahl Funny Prize winners announced!

The winners of this year’s Roald Dahl Funny Prize have just been announced with Brighton-based author Jamie Thomson knocking out the competition in the 7—14s category. Thomson’s tale of a chubby teenager whose body is taken over by dark lord, Dirk Lloyd was illustrated by Freya Hartas, Dark Lord: The Teenage Years is published by Orchard Books.

Author/illustrator Rebecca Patterson’s book about terriifying toddler, Bella and her terrible tantrums stomped its way to victory in the category for six and unders,. My Big Shouting Day is published by Jonathan Cape.
