Dahlicious Charity Dress Up Day is back
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity is once again inviting primary school teachers to step into the unique world of Roald Dahl with their school chiddlers, and register now for 2013’s Dahlicious Dress Up Day.
Friday 27th September 2013 is the Dahlicious Dress Up Day and primary school children across the UK are being asked to donate just £1 to dress up as a Roald Dahl character. From Willy Wonka to Matilda, The Witches and the Twits, there are plenty of phizz-whizzing folk to choose from Roald Dahl’s stories, which are loved by millions of children all over the world.
The money raised will go help fund much needed specialist children’s nurses, and provide support and equipment for children with rare, severe conditions. Last year’s event raised over £92,000 to help seriously ill and disabled children with rare, severe conditions, such as Abrahim (pictured).
Taking part in the Dahlicious Dress Up Day to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity is easy. If you work in a school, you can sign up for an event pack at www.roalddahlcharity.org/schools, email email@example.com or call 01494 890465 to speak to a friendly human bean. If you are a sparky parent, why not ask your school to take part?
If your school registers online before Monday 22nd July 2013, you will also be entered into a prize draw to win a free story telling session with a fantabulous visit from their sister charity, The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.
