Doodle Dash: David Roberts sketch

« Back

Would you like to win your very own doodle by a fabulous children’s book illustrator? We have a variety of sketches and doodles up for grabs in our Doodle Dash competition. This week, we have two sketches by David Roberts, kindly donated whilst on tour with World Book Day’s Biggest Book Show on Earth.

David Roberts worked as a miliner before turning his talents to illustrating children’s books. He has gone on to work with some of the world’s finest children’s authors, including Julia Donaldson and Julian Clary, and has earned great acclaim for his distinctive style. His latest book is the hilarious Prince and the Porker, with David Bently.

We have two sketches by David Roberts up for grabs this week. To be in with the chance to win one, all you have to do is answer a simple question, What was David Roberts’ job before he became a children’s book illustrator?
