Every year thousands of events are organised in schools, bookshops, libraries and other venues to celebrate World Book Day.  The variety and number are impressive, demonstrating how big the celebrations are all over the country.

Details of planned events are input into this section of the site as we receive them; this is useful for those looking for ideas for how to celebrate the Day and for the local media to find out what’s happening in their area.
