Read for Good’s sponsored Readathon is run by thousands of schools across the UK on World Book Day. It’s a brilliant way to get everyone to read what they love – from comic annuals to classics, and audiobooks to eBooks – it’s all about picking up whatever you enjoy reading the most!
Everyone is motivated to read all the more, because the money raised in sponsorship helps provide much-needed brand new books and regular storyteller visits to children in all of the UK’s major children’s hospitals, as well as books for schools.
Your school benefits too – 20% of the total raised buys book vouchers for your school library!
It’s very easy – schools can sign up for a FREE Readathon resource kit containing everything needed to run a brilliantly successful Readathon. To make sure your school receives one in time to use on World Book Day 2019, please order by Friday 1st March 2019.

“Reading is like flying – it can carry you to different worlds. So hurray for Read for Good, which helps launch so many children on that exciting journey.”
