When Oculus discover that Callen has been made a Guardian, they send a Watcher to assess his skills. Callen knows that if fails, he risks losing both his gargoyle and his new home. But satisfying the Watcher is the least of his worries. With ghasts on the prowl, a missing kelpie to find, and blighted magic spreading beyond Gargoyles Rest, Callen’s friendships, his courage, and his ingenuity will all be put to the test.
