School Closed? Celebrate World Book Day with the Childrens Bookshop and World Book Day authors Katie & Kevin Tsang! Join Katie and Kevin Tsang, authors of the this year's World Book Day book, as they take you on an action-packed adventure in a world where humans and dragons bond, deadly dragons cause chaos and a group of friends must save the world. They'll be chatting about their inspirations, bringing these magnificent beasts to life and the importance of a good cliffhanger. Dressing up more than welcome!

Do you have what it takes to be a #StarReader? We have a new out of this world display for #WBD2023! Our exhibition features a selection of books and also star and lunar charts from our 1st floor Information Department collection. They date from the early 1800s to the 1960s and they will be on view in our 1st floor reading room cabinets for the month of March. We also have a large selection of books on astronomy that you can borrow from this Department and there will be astronomy and star themed words searches and crosswords for you to complete after you have viewed our display.
