Build a Book

Certainty of Chance Theatre Company, 2018

Using a box of objects, an opening line, and a randomly chosen picture, children can bring a book to life. They could perform a short story as a play, create a series of photographs, or even make an audio book. The idea is to encourage children to tell their own stories and to think creatively about different stimulus. By creating a story physically before committing to paper, children will be developing creative skills, critical thinking, teamwork and problem solving- as well as having lots of fun.
