For book week I choose a selection of poems and fold them up to look like letters and then deliver them to each class every morning before the children arrive. They all say ‘open me’ and are stuck onto the whiteboard so all can see. The children all get very excited to see what the mystery poem of the day will be with funny poems being the most popular!
