We choose a storybook with enough characters to make a good visual story (minimum 4 characters), then make up a story sack using soft toys as near to the look of the character as possible and add a few props to tell the story, such as tree branches etc. The children love hearing the story with the props, and have the chance to play with the props after the story is read.
