Who we work with
We work with a range of different organisations who help support our mission including publishers, commercial organisations, charities and not for profits and more.

Working with partners
World Book Day champions the fun of reading because it seriously improves lives. We want more children to grow up with a life-long, life-changing habit of reading for fun, and all the benefits this brings.
By working together with families, schools, teachers, early years practitioners, librarians, booksellers, publishers, authors and illustrators, charity and industry partners and supporters we unlock the power of reading for fun. Our collective impact can make a real difference.
Help us to inspire a love of reading, make books more accessible, and give more children the choice — and the chance — to discover the joy of reading.

Participating retailers
Bookshops help to create the £1/€1.50 token and £1/€1.50 book exchange that is so important to World Book Day and to children.
Booksellers give the £1/€1.50 books to children for free in exchange for the £1/€1.50 token.
We work with a variety of different retailers from high street book to independent bookstores.
