Who we work with

We work with a range of different organisations who help support our mission including publishers, commercial organisations, charities and not for profits and more.

Working with partners

We champion reading for fun. That’s because it seriously improves children’s lives. Today, only one in three young people likes reading.

We’re determined to change this by inspiring them to see reading differently.

Together, let’s help every child enjoy the life-changing benefits of reading for fun.

By working together with families, schools, teachers, early years practitioners, librarians, booksellers, publishers, authors and illustrators, charity and industry partners and supporters we unlock the power of reading for fun. Our collective impact can make a real difference.

Help us to inspire a love of reading, make books more accessible, and give more children the choice — and the chance — to discover the fun of reading.

Participating retailers

We’ll be adding the interactive map to the page in January 2027 with updated retailers.

Bookshops help to create the £1/€1.50 token and £1/€1.50 book exchange that is so important to World Book Day and to children.

Booksellers give the £1/€1.50 books to children for free in exchange for the £1/€1.50 token.

We work with a variety of different retailers from high street bookstores to independent bookshops.
