To celebrate the National Year of Reading, we’re giving one primary school in the UK the chance to win an exclusive author event with Katie Kirby, creator of the number one bestselling Lottie Brooks illustrated diary series.

A phenomenon with young readers across the UK, Lottie Brooks is filled with friendship dramas, embarrassing moments and laugh-out-loud relatable tween experiences.

The award-shortlisted series has also become a favourite in classrooms and libraries, winning over dedicated readers and reluctant readers alike with its relatability, humour and honesty.

Whether your pupils are already devoted Lottie fans or you’re looking for a fun and inspiring way to get children excited about reading, this is a competition not to be missed!

The Prize

The winning school will receive a one-hour Lottie Brooks event for Year 5 and/or Year 6 pupils. Katie will introduce new readers to the world of Lottie Brooks, share the inspiration behind the bestselling series and give superfans plenty of behind-the-scenes insights and stories.

The winning school will be updated by the 22nd September and must be able to host the Lottie Brooks event with Katie Kirby on the 30th September, 1st or 5th October.

The winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of the promoter sending notification.
