Join our Reading Revolution and help us to Share a Million Stories

Share A Story just got bigger and better!

‘Reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success – more than their family circumstances, more than their parents’ educational background or their income’
The Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD)

Over the past two years we have asked you to join our Share A Story campaign, which celebrates the benefits and importance of reading for pleasure and sharing stories on a child’s future and encourages parents and the children in their care to spend at least 10 minutes every day sharing stories at any time from breakfast till bedtime.

We’ve been blown away by your support and enthusiasm, embracing the concept of Share A Story and helping to spread the word far and wide. Now, we’re setting our most ambitious challenge yet. In 2020 we want to get EVERYONE to join our Reading Revolution and help us to Share A Million Stories. At home, at school, in bookshops and libraries, every story share of at least 10 minutes will count.

You’ll just need to sign up to our Share A Million Stories website (coming soon!) and log your 10-minute story shares throughout World Book Day month from Thursday 27 February – Sunday 29 March 2020 and watch the total grow. PLUS there are PRIZES to be won!

Reckon we can do it? Of course we can! Register below to be the first to find out more.
