Celebrate World Book Day With BBC Teach Live Lessons

« Back

The BBC are marking World Book Day with a BBC Teach Live Lesson for primary school children across the country. This live, interactive 35-minute broadcast is available free online at, and features live interviews with famous World Book Day authors and illustrators Cressida Cowell, Malorie Blackman and Rob Biddulph.
Designed to tie in with the curriculum for English and literacy at Key Stage 2/2nd Level, the Live Lesson will be themed around an exciting adventure where children are challenged to complete fun reading and writing activities in order to help save the fate of World Book Day itself!
A full teacher guide and activity sheets for the Live Lesson will be made available closer to the day on the Live Lessons website.
