Double Paralympics medal winner Aled Sion Davies and Olympian swimmer Georgia Davies are the new faces of World Book Day 2013 in Wales.

Following their wonderful sporting achievements of 2012, they are putting their faces to the annual reading campaign in Wales. Over 10,000 World Book Day campaign posters featuring the athletes will be distributed throughout Wales in the run-up to World Book Day on 7 March.

Animals Pack – a Free Classroom Resource

This pack introduces a variety of reading materials on the theme of animals to KS2 pupils, but it could also be used in Year 7 and 8, or for transitional purposes between primary and secondary schools. The pack includes a handbook for teachers, 15 copies of the pupil’s booklet and a CD. For further details, please contact angharad.tomos@wbc.org.uk
