This October half-term the The Week Junior Book Festival comes to The Royal Institution of London on 24th October

This exciting one day event is designed to ignite children’s love of storytelling and nourish their love for reading. The festival will have it all, from mesmerising stage performances to fun and captivating workshops, perfect for children ages 3-7 there will be something for every child to capture their creative spark as they explore their imagination.

The incredible stage line up will see a whole host of well known authors who will be taking guests on magical adventures and bringing well-loved stories to life. Performances include a mesmerising poetry performance by Michael Rosen, and Michael Morpurgo and David Farr take children on a thrilling journey with The Secret of the Blood Red Key. Children will also have the opportunity to join JT Williams and The Lizzie & Belle Mysteries during Black History Month. This thrilling session offers a fresh and unique approach to exploring Black history, as JT Williams encourages children to become detectives and historians.

What’s more, guests can get in on the action and take part in one of our many workshops taking place throughout the festival.
