We have activities available at the shop throughout the week associated with the World Book Day Books. On World Book Day we will be holding a storytime of Elmer at 4pm, we are inviting everyone to dress up and win a prize.
All UK Special Schools are invited to join a World Book Day Marvin Story Time Show Special. We bring story to life beyond the typical reading book which for many children with complex and special needs is not accessible. They want to be included in story time and this specially designed programme is meeting the needs of children with the most profound needs. A huge group of children who are so often not catered for. We bring happiness and spread sparkly joy and the children just love the Marvin Story Time Show.

Thursday 7th March, 4:00 - 5:00pm Join us on World Book Day 2024 for Snack-a-Story! Come along to the library in your fancy dress costume and enjoy a relay of stories read by 4 of our friendly library storytellers. Children will get squash and a biscuit. Suitable for ages 3-8 years. FREE and no booking required.

On the 7th March at 9am Legionella and Fire Safe Services are hosting a fundraiser as most of our team have or are having children and recognise the importance of Literacy in Children.
