He has risen from being a star on children’s television to becoming one of Britain’s best known comedians, as well as a writer and award-winning actor, most recently starring in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. He also campaigns for diversity in TV and wants to write children’s books “because children of every age need to see themselves in the stories they love”.
