Participating Stores in the UK and Ireland

World Book Day Book Tokens will be accepted at all participating bookshops displaying World Book Day 2010 material. Search the list of participating bookshops, supermarkets and other book retailers in your local area.

The World Book Day Book Tokens are not redeemable online.

NB. Many school book clubs and fairs also participate in this initiative; please check with your school’s usual supplier to find out their arrangements.

The £1 Token (€1.50 in Ireland) equivalent can be redeemed against any book or audiobook worth £2.99 (€3.99) or more (one Book Token per transaction) or exchanged for one of the six specially produced World Book Day £1 (€1.50) Books, while stocks last.

Participating booksellers generously fund the entire cost of the redemption of the World Book Day Book Tokens. Bookshops will have limited quantities of the £1* books and are neither obliged nor able to supply large quantities of £1* books in exchange for bulk quantities of World Book Day Book Tokens. An understanding of their position is necessary to avoid disappointment.
