Alex Falase-Koya wrote the Marv series because he couldn’t see any heroes that looked like him when he was growing up. Alex has been reading and writing since he was a teenager and was a winner of Spread the Word’s 2019 London’s Writers Awards for YA and Children’s. He lives in Walthamstow with his girlfriend and two cats.
Paula grew up in Hertfordshire with a house full of animals. She has always loved drawing, reading and playing in her imagination, so she studied illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and became an illustrator. She now lives in Bristol, where she has worked as an illustrator for over 10 years.
